In the spirit of holiday-giving, Kix’ies is proud to support One Warm Coat again this year! One Warm Coat is the only national organization supporting coat drives and providing free coats to those in need.
“Living outside of the San Francisco Bay Area, I see a lot of homelessness. With the impact of COVID I believe these numbers are going to rise even more in the months to come”, says Samantha DeMartini, Founder of Kix’ies.
This year, Kix’ies will be donating a portion of our proceeds to support One Warm Coat. For every pair of Kix’ies sold, you will be helping provide coats to people in need. Since 1992, One Warm Coat has donated over 6 million coats to children, families, veterans, seniors and homeless.
“Ever since I can remember, my mom has taken us to the One Warm Coat bins at the shopping malls to donate coats every year at Christmas. I have never done it on a corporate level, but now that I have the means to give back on a larger scale, I want to help those in need.” – Samantha DeMartini, Kix’ies
To get involved this year, host a coat drive in your community, find your local One Warm Coat bin and drop off a new or gently worn coat, or buy a few pair of Kix’ies! For every pair sold, a coat is donated.
One Warm Coat relies on individual and corporate financial donations to support the coat drive program, in-kind donation program, and awareness campaign, and to purchase new coats for agencies in crisis. Every $1 donated warms 1 person. One Warm Coat partners with non-profit agencies and schools in local communities across all 50 states to distribute coats for free and without discrimination to children and adults in need.
